Felicja Curyłowa is a folk artist, painter from the village of Zalipie. During her lifetime, the houses painted by her in her own yard became an ethnographic attraction visited by tourists. After her death, the artist's farm was bought by "Cepelia", which in 1978 gave it to the District Museum in Tarnów, thanks to which it became its branch and the seat of the House of Painters in Zalipie. In 1981, a building from the 19th century was moved to this homestead from another part of the village. The whole is an open-air museum of folk art and architecture made available to tourists.
