Czchowskie Lake is a picturesque, artificial retention reservoir, created in the mid-20th century as a result of damming the Dunajec River on the dam in Czchów. The lake spreads slightly south of Czchów and north of the Rożnowskie Lake, for which it is an expansion reservoir.
