Their area is surrounded by greenery throughout the entire downtown of Krakow, extending for a length of 4 km. The official establishment of Planty dates back to 1822. Numerous stone benches in the park have survived from that period. Planty is the favorite place of entertainment for the Cracovians. Concerts, garden games and illuminations take place here.
