The lagoon in Zakrzówek is considered one of the most beautiful diving waters of Poland. It is also a great vantage point and one of the favorite places for leisure time for Krakowians and tourists. The quarry flooded with water is part of the Bielańsko-Tyniec Landscape Park, it is located near the characteristic 'Twardowski Rocks'. In addition, it is located just a few kilometers from the center of Krakow. From the rocks surrounding the lagoon, there is a beautiful panorama of Krakow and the surrounding villages. You can see the Wawel Hill, the church on Skałka and other monuments of Krakow. The water reservoir has the character of a flooded quarry, carved out of limestone, which is abundant in this part of Poland. Its maximum depth is 31 meters. Vertical limestone walls give the place an exotic feel. One enters the lagoon and the diving base by a road, which was once taken from the quarry. The area provides divers with interesting views in the form of shelves, bends and overhangs. Visibility under water is extremely unique, thanks to appropriate nature protection. The Zakrzówek Lagoon has been hailed as the most `` paradise '' corner of Poland.
