Wooden, historic parish church of St. Bartłomiej in Poręba Wielka. Built in the early 16th century, a tower was added in 1644. To this day, it has retained its slightly changed appearance. It is located on the Wooden Architecture Trail of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. The church is oriented, built in late Gothic architecture. The presbytery closed on three sides and the much wider and longer and slightly higher nave on a rectangular plan are of a log construction, partly boarded with dark-colored boards, broken with shingles, covered with a gable, two-ridge tin roof. Open all-round Saturdays adjoin the church walls, and the sacristy from the north. The tower is a pillar structure, has a room and is topped with an onion-shaped pyramidal helmet. The surrounding is a chapel decorated in the dried trunk of an old tree covered with a shingle roof.
