The institution's slogans are: the achievements of European civilization, multiculturalism of Central Europe, identity and historical memory, dialogue between cultures and societies, protection of monuments, cultural policy, the phenomenon of the historic city, as well as the genesis and development of modern art. The ICC operates on two levels, directing its message on one hand to local audiences and tourists who are the main recipients of exhibitions and educational programs, but above all to specialized institutions, researchers, experts and politicians who create strategies for culture and heritage internationally .
